Founded by Marina Shaikh, an internationally experienced social organiser, and philanthropist, the foundation is already active in states like Maharashtra, UP, Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat. Our guiding principles are human thriving and dignity. We work to create inclusive communities that uplift the less fortunate and to address the complex issues behind our society’s striking disparities.
During this ongoing health emergency, all Foundation resources have been directed toward our Pandemic Relief Project. We operate in Mumbai, Maharashtra; Rampur, UP; Ahmedabad, Gujarat; and Indore, Madhya Pradesh, and their surrounding villages. Every day we deliver food packages with essentials such as lentils, rice, wheat flour, spices, cooking oil, and raw vegetables. We ensure that we distribute sanitisation kits alongside that include sanitary napkins, masks, and bathing essentials. Then there are medical kits that are distributed and include a PPE, sanitiser, gloves, face mask and glucose or juice. We’re also working towards introducing a children’s kit soon that will include a pencil, sharpener, eraser, pencil colours or crayons, a colouring book, and a notebook.
